EU Enlargement Summit

When:

Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Time:

1:00 PM CEST

Where:

Autoworld, Brussels

War on the EU’s borders and rising democratic aspirations in its neighbourhood have made enlargement more than policy: it is now a strategic imperative.

On 4 November 2025, the Euronews EU Enlargement Summit will bring together policymakers, experts and thought leaders in Brussels, as well as live on Euronews TV,  to debate Europe’s defining choice:

Will the Union expand and evolve, or risk stagnation?

With Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement, confirmed among our keynote speakers, the summit will examine whether the 2030 enlargement horizon for candidate countries, the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership states is credible or symbolic, and what deeper integration would mean for Europe’s democracy, economy and strategic autonomy.

Is the EU ready for a larger, more diverse future? Can it deliver on its promises while upholding its values?
