Tilly Metz has been an MEP since 2018, representing Luxembourg. She is affiliated with the Luxembourgish Green party (déi gréng) and the Greens/EFA political group in the European Parliament. Currently, Metz is Vice-Chair of the Subcommittee on Public Health (SANT) and member of the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI). In the Parliament, Metz is closely involved in negotiations on health and environmental policy. She is shadow rapporteur on the European Health Data Space regulation and has been a vocal supporter of greater investment in the health systems of EU member states. In a recent plenary debate, Metz criticized the EU’s reform of intellectual property rights for pharmaceuticals and plant-based products, claiming it would fail to improve patient access to affordable medicines.

Tilly Metz holds a Degree in Psychomotor Therapy from the Institut Libre Marie Haps and a Master’s degree in educational psychology from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
