Juan Fernando López Aguilar is a Member of the European Parliament for the Spanish socialists. He is chair of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, and a member of the delegations to the OACPS-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly and to the Africa-EU Parliamentary Assembly. He also served as Minister of Justice in Spain between 2004-2007.
