Méabh Mc Mahon is a European affairs correspondent for Euronews based in the networks’ Brussels bureau, covering European and global affairs. She is the host of Euronews’ weekend flagship talk show, ‘Brussels, my love?’ which is broadcast in 7 languages.

Méabh often sits down with world leaders like the US secretary of State Anthony Blinken, the secretary general of NATO Jens Stoltenberg, and EU commissioners like Frans Timmermans and Margrethe Vestager. In March 2022, the European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen famously told her “Ukraine is one of us and want them in”. The interview triggered a debate about Ukrainians future in the EU that resulted in a European Parliament resolution and fast-tracked candidacy.

Méabh comes from Ireland but lives in Belgium and speaks English, Irish, Spanish, German and French. She has two small children.
